About Rigid Digit
Rigid Digit is a free daily maths puzzle, like Countdown's Numbers Game but family-friendly and way more fun, for fans of NYT Games like Wordle and Connections. Combine five number tiles with + − × ÷ to hit today's target, at four difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Extreme) for ages 8 and up. A new puzzle drops every day, so it's easy to make part of your routine: play it on your own, then compare results with family and friends to see who solved it best.
About the Creators
We're Steve and Tui, a dad-and-daughter puzzle-making duo from Aotearoa New Zealand. Tui is 9, and together we're PuzzleBusters.
We created Rigid Digit to make number puzzles more welcoming for everyone. We love the challenge of Countdown's Numbers Game, but wanted to build a fun, tactile maths game that kids, parents, grandparents and friends can enjoy together, whatever language they speak best. Tapping tiles into place is a simple way to practise real mental arithmetic and get used to thinking a few moves ahead, instead of reaching for a calculator.
Rigid Digit is built to play beautifully on any device - phone, tablet or desktop - no app store involved. Add it to your mobile and it feels just like a native app: here's how.
