When do new puzzles come out?
A new set drops every day at midnight, New Zealand time. All four difficulty levels change over together.
Is there a time limit?
No. There's no ticking clock. Your time is tracked quietly in the background for the curious, but nothing is counting down at you.
Can I play a puzzle I missed?
Not yet. The archive lets you look back at previous puzzles and see their solutions, but you can't currently play or attempt them yourself.
Do I have to hit the exact number, or does getting close count?
Exact only. There's no partial credit for landing near the target, just off.
Do I have to use all five numbers?
No. Use as many or as few as you need. Some puzzles can be solved with just two or three of the five.
How many puzzles are there each day, and what's the difference between them?
Four: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme. Each is a genuinely different puzzle, not the same one scored differently, and Extreme is specifically built to have only one valid solution, so there's no wiggle room in how you get there.
Is every puzzle actually solvable?
Yes. Every puzzle is checked by a solver before it's published, so if you can't find the answer, that's on you, not the draw.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Free, no ads, no sign-up, ever. Your progress is saved on your own device.
Is there an app, and does it work offline?
It's a Progressive Web App: add it to your phone's home screen and it behaves like one. There's no App Store or Play Store version yet, and it doesn't work offline yet either, you'll need a connection to load each day's puzzle.
