How to Play

The big number is your target. Create equations with the five smaller numbers, using + − × ÷, until one tile reaches the target number exactly.

The Basics

A real Easy puzzle, solved in two moves:

Target
70
Your numbers
75251024
  1. 10 ÷ 2 = 5
  2. 75 − 5 = 70

Only three of the five numbers were needed. The 5 made in the first move is a tile like any other, and it's the one you tap next.

  • Tap a number, tap a sign (+ − × ÷), then tap another number. Those two tiles vanish and a single new one takes their place, showing the answer - and it's yours to keep using.
  • On Easy and Medium, you don't have to use every number - just the ones you need. Hard and Extreme always use all five.
  • Answers always have to be a whole number bigger than zero. No fractions, no negatives.
  • Get any tile to match the target number exactly and you win!
  • Changed your mind? Double-tap a merged tile to split it back into its two numbers.
  • Pick your level: Easy, Medium, Hard, or Extreme. Play as many as you like each day.
  • Stuck? Hit "Give up" to see one way to solve it.

For Serious Players

  • The clock doesn't start until you tap your first number, so thinking is free. Work the whole solve out in your head, then go.
  • Solve in under 10 seconds and your result earns a flame. Get under 5 and it blazes.
  • Hard and Extreme use all five numbers every time, so nothing is spare. Check a route reaches the target before you start tapping.
  • Work backwards as well as forwards: ask what divides into the target, or what sits one small hop from it, then see whether your numbers can build that.
  • Your Stats page keeps score: levels completed, fast solves, and your current and best day streak.
